Riverside Shopping Centre will be going ‘animal crackers’ throughout July and August with the launch of their ‘All Creatures Great & Small’ summer events, charity support initiative and competitions. Kicking off on Saturday 3^rd July with the chance to meet one of the great ships of the desert, a stunning camel and a small and very cute chinchilla! There will also be an opportunity to find out more about animal welfare and protection at the RSPCA stand.

 

Come along to Riverside and observe a fantastic variety of different types of animals and creatures. Over five different Saturdays during the summer, shoppers will have the opportunity to get up close to a variety of animals including the pony petting zoo, study birds of prey in action and meet some more exotic characters at the jungle road show.

 

For the budding David Attenboroughs there will also be the chance to win some fabulous prizes including ‘Be a Zoo Keeper for the Day’, ‘Riding Lessons’ and ‘A Day at the Farm’. For a chance to win, come along to an event and take part in one of the competitions.

 

 

  

 

 

 Events will continue with a Miniature Pony Petting Zoo on Saturday 24^th July, Jungle Road Show featuring everything from monkeys to a baby crocodile on Saturday 31^st July, a Micro Farm with pygmy goats, micro pigs and a baby calf on Saturday 7^th August and Birds of Prey with flight demonstrations on Saturday 14^th August.
